Up for auction A Whiskeyana Guide Antique Whiskey Bottles written and self published by John Howe in 1967.  This Second Edition is staple bound with 68 pages of descriptions and photos of Whiskey Bottles found in California.  I believe there was an addendum of loose sheets for the prices, which are missing.  Mr. Howe does list a generalized Price Guide, based on ratings, on page 11.  Mr Howe also discusses inside screw, ice pick chips, 'big tears' and whittle marks.
This book measures 10 1/16" high, 6 7/8" across, 3/16" thick and in protective plastic sleeve with cardboard backing weighs 6.2 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in an 12x10 stiff cardboard mailer.
This piece is in good vintage condition with age related discoloration, staining, spotting and foxing.  I believe it is missing the 'Prices Listed' addendum.  The cover has discoloration, staining, wrinkles on the spine, wear at the top and bottom of the spine and corner and edge bruising.  The upper right corner of the book cover and pages has bends.  The staples have minor signs of rust on the cover.  The pages and cover also have bends about 2" in from right page edge.
